Magnetic Mafia & Spondere

Magnet Mafia is Harrison Nealey and Matt Feeney (Denver, CO). They, along with an ever growing group of Denver street artists, paint art on magnets and put them up in the streets and galleries of Denver and around the world.

Spondere is Alicia Bailey (Denver, CO), Donna Price & Heidi Zednik (Asheville, NC). Spondere believes in collaboration between artists in any field, of any age, in any location.

This art exchange is the type of project that we have envisioned since the beginning of the MagnetMafia. We are so thankful to have the chance to finally do it! The driving force behind making this project a reality is the women of an art collective called Spondere. We have been working closely with Alicia Bailey, of Spondere, getting all the details in order. We are going to decorate 50+ 1ftx1ft magnets with original artwork of all types that will fly to Altmünster, Austria with Alicia and her crew. (Spondere will host) Austrian artists at a party where they will make their own magnets that will come back to us!! We can’t wait to see what comes back with them when they return.
